The 33rd annual Service of Lessons and Carols will take place on Sunday, December 17, at 3:00. All five of Peace’s choirs will join in leading the congregation’s singing. Come hear the readings from the Old Testament which show us the coming Messiah, followed by the New Testament passages on the birth of the Savior. In addition to the choirs’ carols, the congregation will join in singing “Once in Royal David’s City,” “On Christmas Night All Christians Sing,” “Gentle Mary Laid Her Child,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen,” “Away in a Manger,” “O Savior of Our Fallen Race,” “O Jesus Christ, Thy Manger Is My Paradise,” “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” and “See in Yonder Manger Low.” Preservice music begins at 2:45.
