The 34^th Annual Service of Lessons and Carols is Sunday, December 22, at 3pm. All the choirs of the congregation will lead the congregation in meditations upon the great texts of Scripture that lead up to and include the birth of Christ. The preservice music will begin at 2:45pm.

Christmas Eve services are at 4:00 and 8:00.  
Christmas morning service is at 9:30.
New Year’s Eve service is at 5:00pm.
New Year’s service, celebrating the Circumcision of Our Lord, is at 9:30 am.

Join us during this blessed Christmastide.

Thanksgiving celebrations will be Wednesday at 6:30pm and Thursday at 9:30am.  

Advent midweek services are held at 8am, 2:30pm, and 6:30pm on the Wednesdays in December leading up to Christmas.  Join us as we reflect on Christ’s coming and pray for His advent.

This year, Didache will be held on Monday evenings from 6:00 till about 7:30, beginning on October 7.  Didache is for adults who wish to be further renewed in the faith, and for those who have been absent from the Divine Service, and for non-members who are interested in becoming members of Peace.  This year will include the traditional texts from the Catechism along with an emphasis on the liturgy and how our worship flows from the Word of God.  Each week, our evening will conclude with Compline (Prayer at the Close of Day).  

Teachers are back at school, preparing for the new year.  Records Day will be held Friday, Aug 23.  Peace Lutheran Academy’s first day will be Tuesday, August 27.  The congregation is encouraged to join the families for chapel at 8:30.

Peace Lutheran Church will be hosting the annual CCA Symposium.  This year’s theme is Christ and Culture: Catechesis on the Apostles’ Creed.  In addition to our host pastor, speakers  include the new president of Concordia Theological Seminary, another CTS professor, the chairman of the Board for National Mission, and an editor of Gottesdienst.   Dates are W-F, June 19-21.  The schedule, the speaker-list, and more information is available on the website.  Registration forms are available online for non-members.  Members of Peace are invited to pick up a registration form in the narthex.  

Concordia Catechetical Academy is dedicated to the promotion of faithful Lutheran catechesis and the use of Luther’s Small Catechism.  

We encourage you to join us for the opportunity for worship, study, and discussion.

The children’s choirs of Peace will present their spring concert on Friday evening, May 24, at 7:00, in the nave of the church.  This year’s theme is “The Light of the World.”

That evening will also celebrate the Academy with the fine arts fair beginning at 6:00.  Awards night will also take place in conjunction with the concert.  We hope you can join us and appreciate the children’s accomplishments.

Final midweek Lenten service is Wednesday, March 27, at 8:00, 2:30, and 6:30.  Chapel service is open to all: it is at 8:30 on Mon, Tues, Thurs this week.

Maundy Thursday services are at 2:30 and 7:00 (March 28).  
Good Friday Tenebrae is at 9:00, with Divine Service at 1:00 and 7:00.

The Easter celebration begins with the Vigil on Saturday at 7:00pm, and Sunday services are at the usual time (7:45 and 10:30).

Easter Wednesday service is at 6:30 on April 3.

“Raiders of the Lost Ark” is the theme for the Academy fundraising auction this year.   
Plan to attend on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:30 at Lake Country Lutheran High School.  Bring your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to join in the fun!
