Pr Charles Wokoma, our missionary in west Africa, will be visiting in southeast Wisconsin from August 19-29, 2017. Pr Wokoma is a professor at the Lutheran seminary there. His work there is crucial to raising up faithful Lutheran pastors to serve in the congregations of his home-country and to continue mission work there. Come meet him and hear about the work in west Africa and the importance of our support. Pastor Wokoma will be at Peace for Divine Service on Wednesday, August 23. He will join us at the Benders’ parsonage for Bible class on Thursday morning, followed by a potluck picnic. He will be with us on Sunday, August 27. Pr Wokoma will give a presentation during Bible class and will be honored during Sunday’s potluck dinner.
